The Fremont Troll is probably one of the strangest sights to see if you’re in the Seattle area.
Just like Scandinavian folklore, it’s a troll living under a bridge. Est. in 1990, he was build by four local artist Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter and Ross Whitehead to rehab the area. This art installation is meant to be interactive so you might see folks climbing all over this troll. If you get a good look at his eye, it’s an old hubcap you can try and poke out.
After a much needed pho run we popped over to Ballard and got these awesome shots. You never know what will be a good shot.
